This year the Spring meeting is hosted over the May bank holiday weekend and the program will, for the first time, extends for two days over the May bank holiday weekend.
The theme, as announced in the flyer, for the function this year is "Seeking solutions together" and this is hoped to be at the core of each session, reflecting collaboration from different sectors to finding solutions. As part of our long term commitment to health care services and reform in Sudan, Dr Huda Hassan, Dr Magda M Ali and Dr Akram A Eltom have been invited to deliver their expert opinion.

This year's Key note lecture will be delivered by Professor AlSheikh Mahjoub Gafar, an internationally acclaimed researcher, educator and microbiologist.
 
A full day of activity for young ones and a sponsored trip to LEGOland resort. We would like those interested to register their names with the Secretariat not later than 22/04/15 at   sdusec@hotmail.co.uk.  children are admitted at half price and those under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult or nominated guardian that enters for free. Transport will be arranged via coach that will depart the venue in the morning.
 
The Academic program will be delivered by MIAD and offers 6 CPD points. Places are limited but still available. Target audience is post-FY grades. All grades are welcome to apply with CT and ST grades having priority. Consultants, SAS and foundation doctors are also welcome to apply and places will be offered on a first come first serve basis. The course is free and sponsored by SDU for attendees.
 
Challenges to the NHS will be discussed by Dame Donna Kinnair, QC a rising star in Medical leadership in the NHS.
 
A core part of the function this year, and as part of our commitment to tackle radicalisation a strong panel to discuss Youth culture and the identity crisis with a focus on radicalisation has been put together.

There will be a book fair from"Thagafa bela hudood" book store and an art exhibition,with  part of the proceeds' donated to the SDU, .
