Following reports indicating the emergence of new cases of polio in Sudan in mid-2020, our union organised an online workshop in a joint effort with the Sudan Association of Paediatricians. In this workshop, preventative measures to tackle the threat of the potential outbreak were discussed and an appeal was made to encourage parents to get their children vaccinated and receive the additional dose of polio vaccine.
