In August 2021, the Academic Office of the SDU-UK started an initiative to support our colleagues back home by approaching the Cambridge Boxhill Language Assessment Trust. The trust provides the Occupational English Test (OET) exam. The SDU-UK aim was to make the test available in Sudan.
Our efforts were successful in making OET@Home available in Sudan. The Academic Office received the following official communication from Ms Michelle Coleman, the Head of Marketing & Customers Service: ‘From Monday 2nd August, Sudanese Doctors will be able to book to take OET@Home on 28th August with bookings closing on 21st August.’
