We were pleased to set up the first oxygen generation plant in Al-Gadarif Hospital to serve the city’s local population as well as the neighbouring areas. The project was pivotal to the region, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, as Al-Gadarif state previously relied exclusively on central supplies through oxygen cylinders transported from the capital, Khartoum.
The SDU-UK donated £59,000 to support this project which was implemented in a joint effort with the Manchester Fundraising Committee, Mubadiroon Initiative and Al-Gadarif Hospital.
